I can hardly believe The Keep of Ages is out tomorrow!

Today, the penultimate jump of the Keep of Ages Blog Tour takes me to Bookish Lifestyle, where a playlist of songs reflects the moods, characters, and key moments of The Keep of Ages. Choosing just the right music was a pleasure and gave me the chance to think about the novel in a new way.

Music has always been important to me. More than hearing it with my ears, I tend to feel it around my heart. It enriches my life, connects me to fellow singers, and brings the world into my home. If I could make a wish for all of us, it would be that we make more casual music together, with ukuleles, guitars, and pianos, instead of depending as much as we do on recordings by the pros. The life of live music is more powerful than the perfection of it, and I love the way it unites us.
