The Vault of Dreamers in the Wild

Now.

Now.

The Vault of Dreamers goes into the wild today.  It’s exciting for me and a bit nerve-wracking, too!  I hope readers enjoy Rosie’s story.

I’m also heading out on tour, stopping first at Anderson’s Bookshop in Downers Grove, IL tonight at 7:00 with Marie Rutkoski and Ann Aguirre.  My suitcase is packed and I’m waiting for my taxi as I write this.

For another fun thing, the blog tour continues with stops at YA Interrobang and I’d So Rather Be Reading.

A Happy Launch for The Vault of Dreamers

VaultLaunchThanks to Suzy Staubach and the team at the UConn Coop Bookstore, we had a swell launch for The Vault of Dreamers yesterday afternoon.   I was touched that so many dear friends came to celebrate with me, and one of my cousins drove four hours to make the event.  After I read the opening chapter, answered questions, and signed copies, I had a chance to visit with people and talk books.  It was the perfect way to send my novel off into the wild.  A… Continue reading

The Forge School of the Arts, Detail from the Map by Chris B. Murray

Blog Tour, Day 4, And All Is Well

Today, on My Bookish Ways, Kristin invites me to talk a bit about social media, books, and my research for The Vault of Dreamers. I love questions that get me going.

Vault of Dreams BlogTour BannerThe blog tour also heads over to Working for the Mandroid for Leslie’s frank and insightful review of the novel. Her response to the ending is very much what I was hoping for.

Both sites are offering giveaways as well. Woot!

Caragh O’Brien and Suzy Staubach at the UConn Co-op

I have a special relationship with the Co-op.  I first met Suzy 20 years ago when I moved to the area and came into the bookstore with my kids so they could crawl into the little red barn.  We bought our first… Continue reading

Ari & Milo, my serial novel, is now up on Wattpad! I drew illustrations to go with each chapter, and best of all, it’s free! Because of problematic themes, this novel is for mature readers age 17+.
