A Fierce Weekend

At RJ Julia Bookseller's

At RJ Julia Bookseller’s

This weekend found the Fierce Reads Tour at two more great independent bookstores: R.J. Julia Booksellers in Madison, CT, and Towne Book Center & Café in Collegeville, PA.

At R. J. Julia’s, Kathy welcomed us warmly around the rustic wooden table and moderated a lively discussion with plenty of input from attendees. We were especially happy to have a young gentleman reader, Dean, and his family with us. He was a big fan of Marie’s, with proof that he had corresponded with her back when he was eight.

Yesterday, we had a lovely time with Pam at Towne Center Books & Café, where we had the novel experience of being broadcast live during our panel! The video is up on YouTube in case you want to see the magic in action.

JaimeWe also had a chance to relax in the sunny cafe, talking about books and writing with blogger Jaime of The Perpetual Page Turner, Rachel of A Perfection Called Books, and their friend Julia.

Today, the Fierce Reads Tour returns to the Bethesda Library in Maryland. I have fond memories of visiting the library on a previous tour, so I’m excited to go again.
