I\u2019ll be out and about this weekend.<\/p>\n

This Friday, November 13th, I\u2019m joining writers Pegi Deitz Shea<\/a>, Sandra Horning<\/a>, and Dana Meachen Rau<\/a>, and literary agent Alexander Slater<\/a> for a panel on Writing and Publishing Children\u2019s and Young Adult Literature<\/a> at the University of Connecticut. The event, located in Room 217 of the Austin Building, begins at 4:00 and is free and open to the public. Discussion is likely to be light-hearted and lively.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Saturday, November 14th, I\u2019m attending the Local Author Faire<\/a> sponsored by the Booth & Dimock Memorial Library<\/a> of Coventry, CT. The event will be held in the Coventry Senior Center in Patriots Park, at 172 Lake St, Coventry, CT from 10:00-1:00. Eighteen local poets and writers of a variety of genres will be on hand to discuss their work, and a panel will begin at noon. This event, too, is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
