Haruf\u2019s <em>Plainsong<\/em> and Tina Fey\u2019s <em>Bossypants<\/em>, for completely different reasons.\u00a0 That\u2019s the divine pleasure of reading, of course.\u00a0 You can plunge into books that tickle, delight or trouble the manifold sides of yourself.\u00a0 I simply know, when I find a good read, that it was stupendous, and it makes me crave more.<\/p>\n<p>My book pile is enticing me, and now that we have a sunny day, my hammock is calling me, too.\u00a0 This morning I pre-ordered <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Charlie-Joe-Jacksons-Guide-Reading\/dp\/1596436913\/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1309448733&amp;sr=1-1\" target=\"_blank\">Charlie Joe Jackson\u2019s Guide to Not Reading<\/a><\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Charlie-Joe-Jacksons-Guide-Reading\/dp\/1596436913\/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1309448733&amp;sr=1-1\" target=\"_blank\"> <\/a>by <a href=\"http:\/\/tommygreenwald.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tommy Greenwald<\/a> which promises to be my sort of fun, and I expect I\u2019ll want to reread my girlhood favorite, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iupress.indiana.edu\/product_info.php?products_id=20799\" target=\"_blank\">A Girl of the Limberlost<\/a><\/em> by Gene Stratton-Porter, to go with the moth season as I do every href=\"http:\/\/castellucci.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cecil Castellucci<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Middlemarch<\/em> by <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/George_Eliot\" target=\"_blank\">George Eliot<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>A Kingdom Far and Clear<\/em> by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.markhelprin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mark Helprin<\/a> and <a
