A Visit to The Eater of Books

I’m stopping by The Eater of Books today for an interview with Alyssa, who asks me how it feels to be finished with the Vault of Dreamers series and how much the series changed from when I first planned it, among other things. Alyssa’s an avid reader who posts a variety of reviews, and a fun fact about her is that she’s now an undergrad at Johns Hopkins, where I went to earn my MA in the Writing Seminars.

Another fun fact: when I attended Hopkins, it was the year of the locust, and the huge bugs were everywhere all summer long. They buzzed perpetually overhead in the trees and then dropped to collect in drifts along the curbs. They were the stuff of nightmares.
