Fierceness at the Cambridge Public Library

Many of those attending the Fierce Reads Tour at the Cambridge Public Library were also writers.

Ann Aguirre, Marie Rutkoski and I fielded questions on our latest Fierce Reads panel at the Cambridge Public Library yesterday under the aegis of teen librarian Julie Roach.  Topics included imperialism, slavery, reality TV shows, bullying, and writing advice.  When I asked any writers in the audience to raise their hands, nearly every single person did, and it was so cool.  Special thanks to Julie for her warm hospitality and great questions, and to Porter Square Books, with nice Marty, for providing books for the event.

Tonight the Fierce Reads Tour will find us at Books of Wonder in New York City, with fellow author Emmy Laybourne moderating our panel.  Do come by if you’re in the city.

Vault of Dreams BlogTour BannerIn case you like tours of the virtual kind, The Vault of Dreamers Blog Tour continues today with visits to Alice Marvels and Forever Young Adult.
